Located on the banks of the beautiful River Spey in the village of Fochabers is the original Baxter family home and the setting for one of Scotland’s most appealing visitor attractions. The Baxters experience at the Highland Village is the perfect setting for a great family day out.
Take a step back in time with a visit to the old grocery shop, originally opened by George Baxter in 1868, and discover the history of the Baxter family story. Visit George Baxter’s Cellar, showcasing the full Baxters food range, as well as A udrey Baxter’s Signature range of speciality foods. Our excellent Whisky shop has an extensive range of malt and grain whisky, with knowledgeable staff who frequently offer tastings in store.
For the wine connoisseur, we also have an exclusive wine range handpicked by Audrey Baxter. Mrs Baxter’s Cook Shop is a haven
for the enthusiastic cook, packed full of practical items for the kitchen. A selection of fine clothing, accessories and gifts can be found in our Coat and Swagger shop.
A trip to Baxters wouldn’t be complete without a visit to our excellent restaurant, where you can enjoy delicious home-cooked Scottish food. Why not try Baxters famous soups, pancakes fresh from the griddle and home baked pastries, in a relaxed and friendly environment.
